Khmer and Austronesians are usually considered 'Mongoloids', to me they almost do look like a transition between say the most extreme Mongoloids of northern China, Mongolia, Korea and Siberia and Australian aborigines.
SEAsians are basically a southern variety of mongoloid...the ones who look australian are called hybrids
and are quite different from regular southern mongoloid variety SEAsians

you have it mixed up. Han Dynasty was 2200 years ago, then Dai expansion into SE Asia was 1,000 years ago at the end of the Song Dynasty...
And the Chinese-admixed Thais may account for up to 50% of the population, so you cant just act like they dont exist or are some rare cases. Like I said, they have the largest overseas Chinese population in the world. So they stand out in SE Asia.
