Spanish English and Indian English are more easy to understand than Australian? You've lost all credibility there. I and many others have had frustrating experiences with Indian call centres because of their pronunciation....
Spanish English is very easy to understand because they are more slow and they pronounce every letter.
You have a hard time understanding Penelope Cruz or Antonio Banderas ?

No, but their pronunciations are far from native, even by ESL standards...
Some unique government policies are required to make a city a well developed global city. One region usually has only 1 or 2 important global city. In my opinion, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok should be ranked 2nd and 3rd in global city rank after Singapore in SE Asia.

According wikipedia and global city index:
1) Singapore
2) Kuala Lumpur
3) Jakarta
4) Bangkok
5) Manila
Bangkok's position is questionable, but the index also count the market size and population, indonesia happens to be bigger in terms of both.
I live in Jakarta, I see progress so quickly in comparison with previous years, such as infrastructures, education, health as well as the layout of the city. rose more , but one is still constrained is transportation and flood it may take 6 - 7 years to be overcome. yeah in this research could be a reference to Government DKI .Jakarta have the potential to be a world-class city and become a future business center within the next one to two decades.
Don't see how Jakarta ranks higher than Bangkok. Bangkok beats it in almost every criteria.
Precisely, but that is how the result showed for quiet some years already but i hvent checked their methods of how they do things but counting the population, market size and the fact that jakarta is the asean capital etc it does make a little sense. But with the current political strife Bangkok's influence growth is being surpresed, on the contrary jakarta is growing well.
