QOL is relative and isn't the same for everyone. People speak as if Atlanta offer a better QOL across the board for everyone. Obviously it offers a good QOL for those who love it and it doesn't offer one for those who don't. Depends on what one wants from where they live. For those who have found their niche here, great for them. For those who don't love Atlanta, that doesn't mean there's something wrong with them.

It does when you are in you new awesome city but keep coming back to these forums for whatever reason. Most people just leave the place they hated so much alone.

Well kudos to those that like it....I lived in Atlanta for over 30 years , left and never regretted it...its too crowded, too hot, too expensive and too much crime..etc. But I do have a big family there so I will always stay connected.

People who have lived in a place can give insight and input even after they have moved. Just because you don't always like what they have to say that doesn't mean they don't have the right to post here. This is a public forum and people have the right to post in here whether you like what they have to say or not. You are taking this way too seriously.

You talk about people not living in Atlanta coming in here complaining. I have had Atlanta boosters stalk me across City Data to read my posts in other places outside the Atlanta forum to try to bash and discredit me before people in other forums because they don't like some of the things I say about Atlanta. I've had to block some of them.

Now THAT is crazy. I think it's something wrong with THOSE people who are so unaccepting of people having different experiences or not loving their city as much as they do that they would stalk someone online and try to make them look bad. I'm not the only person this has happened too. I know others who don't always post great things about Atlanta who have also been stalked by Atlanta boosters on City Data. The Atlanta boosters are an interesting bunch, indeed.

They don't bring productive insight they come in here to bash and troll.

Learn the difference between someone making a simple suggestion on what can be improved and how vs someone coming in here spilling vitriol like "75% of my friends hated Atlanta". WTF is that supposed do for the discussion?

Another great thing about the ATL is that just about anything you could want is within a 30 minute drive or less.

Dude, breathe and relax. Again, people can post what they want as long as they are within the TOS. Anything that doesn't portray Atlanta as Utopioa, a lot of people here take issue with it.
