Ron White is one of the four comedians that does Blue Collar Comedy. He's the one with the drink in his hand all the time...lol. You know, the Jeff Foxworthy group.

Don't feel bad. I don't recognize most of the names either. I think they are either rappers or b-ball players possibly.

I literally ran into Phillys Diller as she came out of the Fox Theater one night (yeah I know - whoop). She WAS funny about it though and actually talked to me for a minute.

A friend of mine was doing some construction work at Phipps Plaza a while back and Elton John was coming down the escalator with his then soon to be I guess you say "partner", and some bags. When my friend got to the top of the stairs he overheard salespeople in the hall saying that E. John had just gone into a men's clothing store and bought something like 150 pair of socks that cost $50 per pair or something.

Other than that, nuthin. Most music artists could walk right by me though and I'd never know it was them, and most celebs around here don't exactly walk the sidewalks for long. They usually go from limo to destination entrance, and back again.

I know someone who's a photog who lives in NYC (manhattan) and he runs into famous people almost daily. Heck he LIVES close to a few of them. But NYC is a walkable city - even the famous walk everywhere half the time. It's a photog's dream if you're into it. The one thing he tells me is that the celebs who you would think are really nice are the onces who many times snub you, and the ones who come across as gruff are the ones who will stop to say hello back or maybe even allow you to snap a shot.

I used to work in a restaurant and regularly saw Emmanual Lewis, Erick Badu, lots of local news pseudo-celebrities, and various touring musicians: Taj Majal, Steven Perkins from Jane's Addiction, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I saw Andre 3000 a few months ago at Peachtree Center Mall.

Let me clarify for folks that Andre 3000 is the second & more popular member from Outkast who penned the hit "Hey Ya". And I've scene Emmanual Lewis "TONS" of times, he's a really nice guy.

We had a NY Knicks player looking to buy a house in our neighborhood not too long ago. I don't remember his name but I can ask one of the teenagers and I know they will remember it, LOL.

Andre from Outkast (I refuse to call him Andre 3000) at the airport with his kid (cute kid).

Da Brat at her birthday party several years ago.

Jermaine Dupri being a jerk hanging out of his Land Rover.

Apparently I've seen more that people have named while we were out, but I have no idea who they are.

I've seen Ryan Seacrest maybe once or twice since he took off, back home in Dunwoody. Also saw Erin Andrews (ESPN sideline reporter) at the gym...she lives in the area, apparently.

I've never seen her there, but apparently Julia Roberts can be seen at the Vinings Starbucks every once in a while - she's from Smyrna, so I guess she goes back to visit family often.
