This is awesome! I am a regular user of Inman Park MARTA station and every time I visit I think of how stupid it is that in order to get into the station from Moreland I have to walk an extra half mile into the bus pay to get into the station. A new connection to Seaboard Ave will be huge.

It was designed that way for busway along cancelled freeway.

Yes, but even if that busway was built they still should have had decent ped access from Moreland.

These improvements are great and everything, but it would be nice if they could just fix the obvious problems first like replacing the entry sign at College Park station that has been broken for no less than 4 years (not an exaggeration). It's crap like this that keeps the anti-MARTA flames a roarin. This is an obvious sign that the organization has significant issues in management, there's no excuse.

That freeway was canceled long before design work began on that station. The main reason the bridge was built that way was to avoid the Station Square Apartments while clearing the CSX tracks.

King Memorial station has had a very nice new exterior paint job but the 'next train arrival' signs are STILL operating on the wrong platforms....priorities now c'mon.

Most of these would be more accurately described as "deferred maintenance", not "enhancements". Maybe that new paint smell will almost cover up the lingering scent of old pee.
