How long do you think it'll stay free of ads plastered on the sides or whole cars shrink-wrapped with ads promoting suing for slip-n-falls?

Not long in my opinion.

But if Marta could strike while the iron is hot and replace old signage systemwide, power-wash all the stations right as the new cars get rolling on the tracks, they could make a definitive positive impression in people's minds increasing ridership.

It is an agency with perception problems despite much of it being exxagerated or not true today.

It is exciting though.

I guess the logo and colors are alright, but an update in branding for the early 80's look might be in order too.

The logo's typeface is sorta retro futuristic which is acceptable.

The colors are unique and identifiable, however the stations aren't visible enough to grab people's attention like using the color red would be.

But hurray for the new trainsets.

They started the station rehab projects this year so that's pretty much what's happening.

Hire some local graffiti artists. Or do something to get rid of the gray concrete everywhere.

No sense in hiring them, they'll do it for free soon enough.

Really? There has never been an issue with graffiti on MARTA, why are you inferring that there is?

What I find interesting is that the original 1979-80s sans serif signage actually held up better than the 90s serif signage that MARTA half-installed around the system.
