They don’t belong in a residential district imo. That was my point. That and making sure you understand that SS and ATL are two different cities.
That section of Roswell Road isn’t any more residential than Cheshire Bridge. For about a half mile north, and probably a mile or more south, there were only commercial spaces on Roswell Road. I doubt any nearby residences were actually disturbed by the clubs.

You are insinuating that I think Cheshire is a good spot for the clubs. Its like everyone wants to put words in my mouth.

Downtown, midtown, mostly dense commercial outside of condos, great spot.

Perhaps that section of Roswell Rd but I was more so speaking of Mardi Gras that is less than a mile from from more than one elementary school.

That's the way they've gone after strip clubs in places like NYC and Vegas.

Wonder where ATL clubs will ultimately wind up?
It would nice if Cobb County would loosen up its stance on this subject. Atlanta has a reputation, but business competition and access is good. Mableton & Austell has the demo for this sort of entertainment.

I'm sure glad city planners don't think like this. Hell we'd have to go all the way downtown to be able to do ANYTHING with this logic.

With the way the demographics have changed and are constantly changing in Cobb they won't have a choice before long.

Literally all of Midtown is within a mile of multiple elementary schools...

I'm not into strip clubs, but they are a big part of Atlanta culture. When people come from out of town it what people talk about & do. It's not just the women, it's the atmosphere that says "ATL" It's the money on the floor, the food, the music, the style of the patrons & the dancers. Only Houston & Miami can compare, but the Advantge that I feel Atlanta has over Miami & Houston is Atlana is ground zero for stripclub culture. The more strip clubs the more options for tourist, the better competition in that industry here. It's like removing game tables from casinos in Vegas or not having cosplay characters at Disney World. Atlanta Strip Clubs are part of the Atlanta experience.

A true leader in urban planning and no one would ever catch up. Let Dallas worry about it's families, Atlanta is ready to get crunk.
completely missed the entire point...

Plus, don't be one of those people that think the Beltline was supposed to be about "trails" and not about transit... Don't be that guy...

Thank heavens I know of no one who has ever come from out of town that talks about these places and much less wants to visit them.

Can you show me on a map all the ones within a mile of Peachtree or one or two blocks off?

There are some daycares, I'll give you that!

What I like about this sentence is that it is completely incoherent to the discussion at hand.
