2. A better branding for the AUC area.

3. Search my past posts.

4. See #3.

5. Let it stand as a classic, historical name for the area. Though, for this one, a local neighborhood would totally suffice and be OK with me.
1. It was named for Tallulah's granddaddy, Captain John H. Bankhead, CSA. Perhaps it should be named for whatever they end up naming the Bellwood Quarry/Westside Reservoir Park.

2. Why not just name it AUC Station?

3. Medical Arts or SoNo (It's on Google Maps, folks; it's here to stay.)

4. COP Station

5. Sylvan Park Station

But why do we bother? They'll all be named for living politicians, anyway.

The five stations being renamed are:

  • Bankhead
  • Ashby
  • Civic Center
  • Dome/GWCC/Philips/CNN
  • Lakewood/Fort McPherson
  • Bankhead (it’s gonna take a lot to convince me that wiping out Atlanta’s hip hop history isn’t worth keeping a name that is named after a confederate no one even remembers today)
  • University Center, Westside Village, or Washington Park
  • Don’t really care what this one is called honestly
  • Centennial Station
  • Whatever name the new Fort Mac development will be called
