I seriously dispute that. Willie is an international celebrity, and I had heard and read about Leslie for years before I came to Austin and had the Leslie experience for myself.

Alex Jones hung out on 6th street in the 90's? From what I can see from just looking him up for the first time, he's 38 years old now. Why would a radio talk show host hang out on 6th Street anyway? I know the other guys that I mentioned are all sportscasters who make regular appearances at bars and other events so it's common for Austinites to know who they are without listening to them.
