There are fourteen Randall's in Austin, all west of Mopac. They are a division of Safeway, and carry Safeway house brands.

We get our meat and produce at Costco or Sprouts when possible. I like the fact that Sprouts meat is hormone free. For everything else or stuff you need quick, HEB is our choice.
Neighbor, some of us are staying away from the Sprouts that post 30.06 in their stores. Not all have done so, however; so it may not apply at certain locations. Odd policy, IMO.

Sorry - two aren't. Barely. One at Ben White and Manchaca, one at Brodie and Slaughter.

OK, add another to the "barely" category. My mistake for not zooming in on the locator map, after being stricken by the clear west side bias of Randall's. They obviously have a demographic they are targeting - vice HEB who goes everywhere, and tailors the store to the market.

Equal weighting to Central Market/HEB/Farmers Market...but if I lived anywhere close to Trader Joes it would get the bulk of my business.

Trader Joe's for coffee and a few snack items - I go there about once a month. TJ's Provides paper bags

Costco for meat, produce, milk, eggs, frozen veggies/fruit as well as nuts and household stuff ie: Ziplock bags, pet food (cat and dog), laundry detergent and TP. I go to Costco weekly

HEB for everything else. My HEB is not in Austin so bags are still provided. The one time I stumbled into the HEB on Lakeline (Austin) I paid $1 for them to bag my groceries in paper bags.

I don't like nor will I use the reusable bags. I won't shop in a store that won't provide paper bags if they are in the bag banned areas and I don't mind paying that $1 at HEB. Remember, the ban applies to the plastic bags not to paper.

What is this 30.06 you speak of?
