Quite honestly?

Size discussions, lol.

So I got exactly what I expected. But I found out a little bit about GOAT's background that I wasn't aware of. That was interesting. He and I could sit and talk cars. I'd like to hear more about his Miata racing. Though why he sold his toys is beyond me.

FYI: GOAT and I bicker back and forth on a variety of subjects. He respects me. I respect him. And we drive each other nuts.

Only 135mph over the decades from various cars I have owned: 1970-1/2 Trans Am, 1991 5.0, 2004 GTO. Somewhere in Mexico in roads which bore a resemblance to the Florida Turnpike and connecting roadways. All of the cars had more in them but I decided on discretion. None of the cars were stock except for the GTO.

I had the pleasure of running alonside a crop duster with my Trans Am on that memorable occassion. He was pacing me. I thought it was the FHP due to the paint scheme. I am still here and so it was not.

I should add very high speed driving is surreal as the road/landmarks reach out to you instead of in normal speeds where the car gradually works it way down the pavement.

Been around 140 on hwys out west. 143 on a road course and 186.3 down a drag strip. Both track times were in purpose built race cars.

Vette motor, turbo 400 tranny. The highway patrol and their helicopter confirmed it as well.
No big deal most vehicles on the road today can still get that fast if you remove the govenor programmed in the computer. My '08 Ford has been up to 140 with plenty of pedal left.

TL1000R, you had tons of power left...lol...Took a Ninja 636 to 135 mph w/o issue, the buddy who owned the bike registered 175, but we all believe the speedometer was being a little "enthusiastic".

Fastest i've ever DRIVEN a vehicle was 202 mph.
