Best---- 1954 Studebaker (hence the screen name) Dark purple, no A/C, windows would not roll down. I had to have a physical and wear a two layer driving suit, gloves, neck brace to drive it even in 100 deg weather. But it would accelerate from 0-120MPH in a city block and just over 6 sec.
Worst---1969 Sunbeam Sedan (not an Alpine) I actually had to run tubing from a fitting on the dash to the carburetors where I could connect a can of eather to start it if it was below 40deg.
Worst - When I was a kid, we had a 1960 Ford Galaxy. I think it was just Ford's attempt to dress up the horrible 1959 Edsel and sell it. We never could go over 100 miles out of town without a breakdown. We had to carry water with us every time we took a trip, because the engine overheated. About 20-25 years ago, I think a retired engineer from Ford commented on the 1959 and 1960 models being disasters.
Best - I have a 1978 Datsun 280Z in my garage. I bought it new in 1978. In 2004, I finally had to spend money on it. I got a local machine shop to build a new engine with the original block, but I had it bored out to accommodate larger pistons, added a different cam shaft, performance exhaust, and new transmission. It may outlast me.
Worst - First vehicle I ever bought was a brand new 1972 Opel Rallye. The carb needed to be rebuilt at 15K miles, and the engine threw a rod at 31K miles. I got rid of it after only three years and 40K miles.
Best- 2003 Honda Accord with a five speed stick. Got around 30 MPG and it handled great, especially considering the interior space. My kid drives it today around Los Angeles.
Now if I include my parent's vehicles the first vehicle I drove was a 1962 Dodge Lancer, with a 225 slant six engine and push button automatic. It had oil in the radiator, so I had to add a quart of oil every 300 or so miles, and siphon out and refill the radiator once per month. In the summer, the car would begin to overheat after about 10 miles of driving, so I had to put the heat on to keep the engine from shutting down. I had to keep gloves in the car, the steering wheel and door handles were too hot to touch when I reached my destination.
I'm only 19 so bear with me. Nothing to fancy considering I paid for all my vehicles,
I've owned 14 vehicles since I was 16. I've always liked driving something different every few months.
best is a tie, I've owned a 1989 Nissan Maxima SE- handled like a BMW and was RELIABLE, then my current car a 1991 Nissan Maxima SE-handles great. Both Maximas were stick shifts. I don't really like automatics. My third best car would be 1988 Nissan 300ZX, bright red 2 seater. 5-speed. I had the 300ZX in high school and got so much attention. The cops hated me. I loved that car handled like dream. I've always been a Nissan guy. I've owned American and foreign and both have there pluses.
Worst 1994 Toyota 4Runner, Mint condition, after 2 weeks of ownership headgaskets went out. $2,239.62 later I had her back. Was very unimpressed. That happened just as I was graduating High School.

It must have been VERY modified to run 0-120 mph in that time. Like about 1,000+ horsepower!

Yea the first two generations of 4runners were crap. I had one from what was either the tail end of the thrid generation or the very beginning of the fourth generation (I'm gettin too old to keep little things like that straight), it was one of our favorites.
Worst...1941 Chev, but it was pretty much worn out when I got it in 1957. A close second is the 1950 Austin I had way back when.
Best for fun factor on the highway is the 1975 Porsche I own now, but I have built a highly modified engine for it...Sticks to the road in the twistys like no other.
For fun in the backwoods it's hard to beat the dune buggy I built seven years ago...I also built a modified engine for it.
For comfort and travel I like the 2007 Forester I bought last spring
