Best: 2004 Nissan Titan Crew Cab 4x4
A fantastic truck to drive - smooth, powerful, comfortable, huge NBA-sized back seat room, great handling for a big truck, trouble free - discounting the brake recall which was quickly corrected by the dealer. Sadly, poor gas mileage was its downfall and I recently had to part with it.

Worst: 1984 Chevrolet Camaro H.O. Z28
What a poor perfoming, ill handling dog, even with all the factory perfomance options it had. Horrible ignition failures caused by crappy distributor modules, vapor locking at the drop of a hat. Sold it two years after ownership to a friend who really liked it despite it's problems, and the engine almost burned up on her when the electric cooling fans suddenly went out.

Worst vehicle ever: 1995 Ford F150, 2wd, inline 6. Two trani overhauls inside 6 months of ownership, and thats just the tip of the iceburg. Ford has lost my business forever.

Best vehicle ever: 2007 Toyota Tacoma 2wd, V6, 5 speed automatic. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT, need I say more.

Worst:
1997 30th anniversary Z-28.Loaded to the gills with everything,6 speed,LT1,3.42 posi rearend,12 disk changer, special white paint with the orange stripes from factory....

And the alternator went out shortly after we got it,followed by the rearend needing to be replaced, then the windows leaked, the special leather seats started to wear out almost straight away, rearend started to go out again so we traded it in.

Best:
I guess the Tacoma we traded the above car in on,we cared nothing for it,didn't do much maintenance on it and it ran forever...it was however an incredibly uninspiring and dull vehicle.

The trailblazer we have now has been quite good so far, although it is another of those boring vehicles you just drive.

Best as far as fun- tie 1981 Nissan/datsun 280zx- 1986 Honda crx si
worst- 1998 ford Ranger 4x4 or the 1989 Olds cutless supreme. Both spent more time at the garage than in my drive way.

Best: 93 accord, never did anything but mainteance to it. Itwas just as tight and engine was just as smooth as new when I got rid of it 11 yrs later.

Worst: 85 chevy silverado or 81 ford F-150. Engine always were very rough running. Alot of small break downs.

Now have a 2004 camry V6 that so far is going like the honda but has much better power and overall smoothness. My next truck will be a toyota probbaily because my F-150 has just been a 700 dollar fix here and 500 dollar fix there since it was three years old.

Worst: I also had the misfortune of owning a Fiat 850 spyder, but I don't think it actually ran enough to qualify as an automobile!
Another bad one... 83 Z-28 HO Camaro.. fast and handled fairly well, but I replaced so many water pumps, alternators, the tranny, radiator, heater core, topped off with a valve job... all this on a car that still had less than 70k miles on it when I finally got rid of it

Best: 2004 Highlander 4wd.. outstanding handling, relaibility, and plenty of get up and go... honorable mention... 99 Toyota 4runneer. 100k miles so far, and the only thing that's been repaired/replaced is the battery and tires!

Best Car: 98 Nissan Maxima SE fully loaded. I kept that car a total of 5 years-last two years of high school and all of college. What can I say, I kept the oil changed every 5,000 miles and performed the suggested maintenance from the dealer, and this car would RIDE from DC-where I attended school- to Charleston,SC-hometown like nothing, 95 on I-95 at times. Never had a problem. In the end, I believe this car had over 140k on it. Once I finished school, I went through this yuppie phase and had to have a BMW X5. Looks wise, the car was superior, rode nicely on the highway, but I was never impressed the car as a whole..Went back to the Nissan family-Infiniti- and I could not be happier.

Best: '83 Mustang GL 5.0... stripped like an LX, and had a manual trans. I ripped out the emissions controls, did some work on the engine, basically got it up to par everywhere else and that mother would fly. It'd hold 2nd gear to 80 mph. You really had to know how to handle that thing or it'd get away from you in a heartbeat. I bought it beat up and got it running well, then sold it to some kid who took it further, but now I wish I had never got rid of it.

Worst: '03 Saturn Vue. Axle shafts busted at 3,000 miles. Was in the dealership 5 times for warranty work. Bad catalytic convertor, failed/whistling weather stripping, cruise control stuck in ''accelerate'' and a frame/suspension recall. All by the time it hit 25,000 miles. Traded it in for a Pontiac Vibe, which is one of the best cars we've had. We have 95k miles on it now and the only thing that failed on it was the battery last month. We can put 2 (disassembled) recliners in it and it averages 30 mpg.
