Just to vent/question. It seems to me a new trend that cars pull out from side roads onto main roads, without stopping at stop sign or just pulling out in front of oncoming traffic. I've been driving for a long time, but this trend seems to be picking up steam. As I drive to work/wherever, down an arterial road, vehicles will enter from housing/shopping areas without so much as a hesitation at stop sign, they just go. It's almost like they are saying, "it's my turn". Then I have to slow down, or even break hard, to accommodate for this impatient driver.
I was nearly rear ended at a stop sign. Large truck behind me didn’t expect me to come to a full and complete stop at the stop sign. He kept rolling as if he expected me to just drive through without stopping.
I stopped at a 3 way today and hiding in the shade of a tree was a local motorcycle cop! I'm not a stop sign "roll" guy anyway but the cop sitting there shocked me.
I stop but have noticed lately that more and more drivers do a rolling stop instead of a complete stop. Everyone's in a hurry these days, or so it seems
