Never use the heated seats and the cooling isn’t that great. I’ll pass if I have to pay for them.

The heated seats are good in freezing weather. I tend to tense up my muscles in the freezing cold. Heated seats relax my back muscles. Once the interior gets warm enough I turn the heat control for the seat down or off.

We have heated seated in our two drivers. I don't think I'd want another car that doesn't have them.

They feel really good in the winter. Even more so when you're not feeling well (flu type symptoms).

I vote yes!

I've been using the heated passenger seat to keep my Arby's order warm while I drive home. I used the driver heated seat and steering wheel just to make sure they worked.

May I ask which car?

When my wife bought her Kia Sorento in Florida it had heated seats she laughed and said why jut why heated seats in a Florida vehicle. Air cooled i can see but heated. We ended up moving back to Michigan and now she’s happy to have the heated seats.

I’ve used the heated steering wheel feature a lot more than heated seats. When driving in colder weather my hands tend to get cold while I don’t necessarily need the heat on or on very high. It’s simply a nice complement

I think we both over-generalized. I posted how my vented seats work, but you are correct, many do "suck" air. But not all.

Heated seats are awesome in the cold climate where I live.

Cooled seats (a misnomer since the cooling is actually due to a fan directing cold air from the AC to the seat bottom) are nice for a few days a year. I'd probably appreciate them more if I lived in the South.

Be aware that the seats themselves may differ depending on whether you purchase no H/C, H and no C, or both H/C seats. I bought a Grand Cherokee last year and would have gone with the H/C seats until I discovered that the seats were much firmer and nowhere near as comfortable than the heated seats alone.

Ventilated seats can and depending on the setup either pull air in through the seat or from the cabin and push it out through the seat. It’s not simply a single functionality through all setups
