so my wife test drove the bmw x7 and infini qx80 this weekend. she was also planning on test driving the tesla model x , lincoln navigator and possibly some others. it seems that in driving the x7 and qx80 she has determine that driving the biggest suv is more important than the additional performance. so i think now she is dropping the x7 and the tesla model x. i think she is now planning to test driving the lincoln navigator and decide between that and the qx80. which is better?
my wife drive a chevrolet or gmc branded automobile!!!!?? how dare you insult her like that!!!!!!?
What’s so insulting? Have you seen the all new new Yukon Denali? It has a amazing interior. It’s going to cost $80K, but if you are taking a look at the navigator, the brand new Yukon Denali with the 6.2 is certainly worth looking into.

im just kidding. i dont know man, my wife isnt going to get a car that isnt a luxury brand. i dont disagree with you at all but it is what it is.
Aviator is rated 21 miles EV range for the PHEV, which is pretty short. It's also roughly $10,000 more than a comparable non-PHEV. Just my two cents, but it's not worth $10,000. It's quicker, but the regular one is probably fast enough already. Just not the type of vehicle where a 5 second versus 6 second 0-60 really matters. It's no X5M or GLE 63.
$10K for 21 miles on electricity doesn't make any sense. Assume electricity is 100% free and you'd need to drive like 65,000 electric only miles to save $10K in gas (and that's assuming $3/ gallon gas and free electricity).

I guess I can see edge uses for it. Thinking back on my pre-COVID commute, the 21 miles would be nice in the normal stop and go if there's a hold charge mode. Also there is the tax credit which brings that down to $3,500. I could maybe see it being worth it for that at $3,500. I can't see spending $10,000 on it though.
So my wife just test drove the model x lr. I haven't got a review yet since we just momentarily crossed paths as I took my daughter to ice skating. She just said "the Tesla is f-ing amazing. F-ing amazing. Nothing compares." Now she doesn't have a lot to compare it to but I guess she liked the drive. She said it was better than my y.
so even after loving the performance of the x, we test drove the navigator today and she chose that. i tried to make a deal and was rejected. i was a little suprised since i just did the exact price i could get the car for on rodo but i guess trade in value i went too high for them. i went towards the top of the range, i figured used car sales are doing well and its a lexus. i asked for 31,500 after they offered 30,000.
I think it looks good so I can’t argue with the choice
