help finding a place to live. (for rent, safety, pet friendly)

I'm looking for a pet friendly place to live (apt/home for rent) with a maximum of about $850-$900 but preferably under that. I grew up in Maryland and am familiar with the baltimore area. I'm open to several areas including mt washington/pikesville, hampden, charles village, fells point, cockeysville, towson, and the neighboring areas without going too far away from that range. I know it's a broad spectrum, but having grown up here I see how they are all relatively close to one another (exits 19-25 on the beltway lol). I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions about specific communities that I could look into. I have a medium sized dog and so the pet factor has made it challenging to find some options. My only other concern with the place is of course the safety factor. I'm open to a 1 br or a studio apt.

So far I've looked at Falls Village of Mt Washington (front runner but a bit small, would prefer cheaper if possible), Fallstaff Manor, and Willowbrook Apts.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
