Carl - Use your normal urban caution and awareness.
Except London doesn't have a bunch of gang-banger thugs running around shooting people.

If you have to go to Baltimore stay around the harbor area, and don't venture more than a few blocks in any direction from there.

Check out the Naval Academy in Annapolis.

Can't really tell you more to see, I prefer the country to the city.

In addition my understanding is London is a heavily monitored City. They put cameras everywhere. If any crime breaks out police are there within the second. You put a camera someone in U.S. everybody and their baby mama ******* about invasion of privacy.

London is softer than wet baby food.

Did this happen to your family? The other rapes you were talking about were in Towson, Baltimore County. Is there a rape in Baltimore City in another post that I missed? Is there a link to this crime that you can post for us? Why is a person that claims to be living happily in Southern Maryland for several years all of a sudden so concerned about Baltimore City?

I'm having trouble connecting the dots. But, being a Baltimore City resident, I guess I'm pretty dense.

I shouldn't have asked about the poster's family. I apologize, especially because I do know a woman who was sexually assaulted (but fortunately, because of her effective evasion, not raped.) She was ultimately able to get a conviction against her assailant DESPITE police department OBSTRUCTION. The police department claims that they have reformed their procedures in response to sexual assault. Let's hope so, they certainly couldn't get any worse.

I'd bypass Baltimore and stick to Boston, Washington DC, Philly and NYC.

Baltimore is a dirty ghetto nasty cesspool. You'll likely be robbed.

I have to congradulate you Mr. BmoreNOmore. You are truly the lamest toll that I have ever read. I just took a look at the Detroit and Cleveland forums to see what their trolls are up to. Detroit didn't seem to have any decent trolls (Detroit can't do anything right) and Cleveland only had one. I thought that the Cleveland troll's post "Yes! Finally leaving Cleveland!" was actually pretty good - it had links and everything. Unfortunately for DiceClay, Clevelanders panned it for its lack of creativity.

BmoreNOmore, I'm going to ask you to step up your game and become better grade of troll. You can start by including some content in your posts.

Yeah, really! What is up with all these negative posters:???

Inner_heights77 - trolls and gets mad when you press him, funny at times, very prejudiced, mods let him get away with it all
Bmorenomore - yawn, just not original
steppinthrax - whines about how much Baltimore sux, yet left over 5 years ago, why can't you stay gone?

You folks are a PITA! Get a life! The sky is NOT falling. Baltimore is NOT Detroit, NOT LA, NOT Syria or Afghanistan. One can live a great life in Baltimore - or almost anywhere in the US - if YOU let YOURSELF!

Yeah, and nothing else ever happens there either. I'd be willing to bet you'd see similar statistics when trying to calculate the amount of people having any measure of fun there.

Calvert County is a family oriented area. People here are older, they are professional and they appreciate stability and religion (although I'm not religious). People here stick together and value their community. While I guess in Baltimore many like the bar scene, drinking and driving, vehicular manslaughter, theft, robbery and raping females in Towson University.

If that's what you mean by fun!!!!!
