Barry Bonds never tested positive for steroid use. One Better. Those are the facts and are not in dispute.

Still he was Persecuted and hounded. What is the difference?

Clear as the sun on a blue sky day.

Ryan Braun has been found innocent by a technicality, not that the test result itself was necessarily in error.

Though his suspension was cancelled, in still is unknown how he will be considered by the media and by fans.

As far as being clean, he may be in the "doubt it class", just like Bonds (and Roger Clemens). At this point it is too early to tell.

Bonds is an admitted steroid user - positive test or not.

The only thing he can argue is that he didn't realize that they were steroids and the duration of his use.

There is zero doubt or disagreement that he did use a substance that has been shown to be a PED and he has admitted using the substance.

Braun wasn't found innocent at all. The result of the investigation was nullification of the case due to improper evidenciary procedures.

The difference is that Bonds didn't play for Bud Selig's team.

Whats the difference one is white or white looking and the other is black. The biggest difference is that Bonds is a complete a--. He burns bridges where ever he goes, that's why prosecutors want him. He should stop being a jerk then watch how nice people become.

first we need to wipe the slate clean on Bruno Hauptmanns and come to think of it, what proof did they really have on that whole Cains vs. Abels thing either?

Your point is amusing and probably a good one. Having seen Barry play and hang out there is no doubt in my mind he (and Braun) are gentlemen. At least give them a doping policy which secured the chain of testing and evidence so that the sample does not end up next to the old mayo in the fridge or in the hands of unscrupulous law enforcement officials. These guys can hit catch and run. Let's support fair and accurate testing.

Go Barry

I was reading an article recently and the author had stated that it's completely asinine to brand Bonds, Clemens, Sosa, etc. as cheaters since it can be safely stated that most of the league was doing some sort of PED, so the playing field was level. I can respect Bonds for just keeping his mouth shut, plus, as someone else stated, he never tested positive for anything. Now, for McGwire and Palmeiro who couldn't keep their mouths shut, I shake my head at them. Arod will be seen as a hero after he's done playing because he just came out and admitted it, as with Pettite.

Ryan Braun should also keep his mouth shut because he was sitting under a lucky star. It also didn't hurt that as Mr Yuk kindly reminded us, he plays for the commissioner's team.
