Yeah ok, I can understand maybe resting one player, such as 36 year old Duncan, but 4 players when the season just started because they were "tired". Come on now, suck it up, that's why they get paid the money they do. Jeezus.

I agree 100%, I don't want to hear anything about someone being tired who is paid good money to play basketball

Yeah, if there was ANY Spurs fan out there who still liked Stern... that person doesn't exist anymore.

Wrong is wrong. You cannot rest star players a week after Thanksgiving and I agree with the fine.

The league has no right to fine the spurs, there is no rule, nothing telling any team they can't sit stars period. The fine is not legal per the rules book, and stern is over stepping his bounds, he basically just fined his boss, the owner of a team that pays his salary.

Obviously it's not a problem at the end of April because all teams have done it. This is my first time ever seeing a coach rest his star players in November which to me was strange regardless of how long their road trip was the past 3 weeks.

Okay so it's okay to rest starters, just not the week after Thanksgiving. I would love to see how that rule is written.
