Well, we all saw how good of a talent evaluator Jordan was in Charlotte. James Worthy???

I think this team would beat his:

Gary Payton
Jesus Shuttlesworth
Kevin Durant
Tim Duncan
Shaq

The Glove would harass Magic and make it fairly difficult for him to bring the ball up the court and get into their offense.
Ray Allen would wear out Jordan to some extent with his constant motion on offense.
Kevin Durant has the length and athleticism to shoot over Pippen, and to guard Pippen on the other end.
Tim Duncan would prison rape James Worthy.
Prime Shaq is a tad too much for Hakeem.

This team has more size, shooting, and defense and rebounding inside. The inside-outside game with Shaq, Ray Allen, and Durant would be nasty.

Jordan's team would have a little more perimeter defense and penetrating ability.

I'd go with:

PG: Ricky Rubio
SG: Reggie Miller
SF: LeBron James
PF: Tim Duncan
C: David Robinson

Being a PG fan that was the hardest, it was between Rubio, Stockton and Rondo. Just as modern players are more explosive on their dunks Rubio and Rondo are just far more skilled at assists than Stockton. Then between Rubio and Rondo, I think Rubio's speed and defensive energy would mesh better than Rondo with the rest of the team.

Game over.
I might edit this a little. Durrant against pippen and (since this is a fun thread), off the bench Dr. J, Elgin Baylor, Karl Malone, Jerry West, George Gervin, Wilt, Lew Alcindor, and Oscar Robertson.

That's a really good lineup there but Kidd over Kobe? Not sure if you'd need a pure point guard since everyone else has such great hands and passing ability. Kobe better offense and much better defense. And none of those guys could guard Jordan - maybe Dr J but not as well as Kobe could.

Kobe and O'Neal may have won a few championships together when Kobe was still young, but they didn't gell for numerous reasons.

Kidd is a team-first guy, Kobe is a me-first guy who won't dish the rock. A distributor in Kidd and no selfish 2-guard should be a good combination against point forward Pippen dishing the ball to Jordan every possession.

Not one person has posted a team that's better than MJs....
U may swap bird for worthy, but heck if worthys is your "weak link" than they can live with that.
