Nope, the standard for "making it" and "not being a bust" is actually finishing your entire contracts without getting waived by every team you ever plaid for... ALL OF THEM WAIVED HIM!
Dude is a bust plain and simple...
Pretty sure being a lotto pick, playing in 5 seasons and earning $9M counts as making it. Heck, even someone like Anthony Bennet made it. How a player's skills translate is completely on those doing the picking. Regardless, if you play in the league - you MADE IT. You're 1 in 500,000. Draft picks aren't a perfect science even if some armchair QBs like to sit back like they knew how every player's career would unfold.
Notice anything about this?
College, dleague, china... all very low level of competition. Not even Euro league level competition.
I teach/train martial arts, never been a world champion in jiu jitsu, but I've damn sure won a lot of local and regional stuff. That's about where jimmer is, doing great on the local/regional level, can't hang with the world champion level guys.
If you are offered 10 day contracts by the NBA - you are far from a local talent. Kids, lol.
At this point I'm just waiting on one of them to say "I could beat Jimmer one-on-one".
Clearly you don't grasp the concept of analogy
Clearly you don't grasp what a bust is.
You keep talking about how much money he's made, that's a ridiculous argument that has nothing to do with anything.
Hell Danny green makes more in one season than jimmer has his entire career.
How many members of the first round of the 2011 draft are still in the NBA?

That's the travesty, Jimmer is a much much better shooter than danny green!

So far I've heard that he "only made $10M", wasn't "THAT good" of a shooter and never actually played in the NBA because he didn't start.
Most 1st rounders stay around a while, but as I said, those making the selections don't always get it right so once you get out of the top 7-8 or so players (typically NBA ready) you more frequently run into players like Jimmer, Jajuan Johnson, Jordan Hamilton, Marshon Brooks, Chris Singleton or Nolan Smith (all 2011 first rounders no longer playing). If we are talking bust, Jimmer doesn't even win the award in his own draft class -that goes to Jan Vesely picked #6 and also no longer playing in the league. Heck, Jimmer doesn't even rank as the 2nd worst pick considering Derrick Williams at #2 should have been a franchise changing perennial all-star yet has amounted to a 6ppg role player nearing a D-league position.
It's no troll, it's a fact. Jimmer is a world class shooter Green ain't
