I just finished "Long time Gone" by JA Jance, it was really good, I'm just starting to read books again.

I wanted to mention, years ago I read Barbara Taylor Bradford's first book
A Woman of Substance I think its a novel

If any of you like the poor gal making it in the world this book is terrific, takes place in England I believe, one book I will never forget. There is no swearing etc in this book, starts out as a young girl in england and take it from there.

The quote in it" Revenge is sweet" always stuck in my mind over the years.

This is Bradfords best book IMO, I read a few others but got bored when I got to the 3rd book.

Are there any books out there similar to this?

Hi,

Tami Hoag is not Stephen King's wife. His wife is a novelist but her name is Tabitha King.

Ha! GREAT book! I just bought her book "Bonk" (Bonk: the Curious Coupling of Science and Sex, by Mary Roach). I love the way she writes. She does articles for Reader's Digest as well.
