Boulder County dog parks:
Boulder County Colorado CO Dog Parks (http://www.getboulder.com/sports/sports_dogparks.html - broken link)

The link does not include a recently opened dog park in Lafayette. Here's a link to a Daily Camera (Boulder newspaper) article that does include the Lafayette dog park: A guide to Boulder County dog parks : Pets : Boulder Daily Camera (http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2007/nov/09/guide-boulder-county-dog-parks/ - broken link)

HGTV had a show on best places to live in America this year and they showcased Denver as most Dog Friendly place in the nation. They also ranked it second best city in the nation overall.

Yes, Boulder is EXTREMELY dog friendly. You do not own a dog in Boulder; you are its guardian. Dogs are allowed on the open space under "voice control". There is a steady stream of letters in the local paper (Boulder Daily Camera) about people being harrassed by dogs while out on the open space, and a steady stream of responses defending the dogs.

Sound like a complete contradiction.

Well, yeah, that was my point. What exactly IS "voice control"? Dogs will be dogs.

I used to have dogs. One of them was bi-barkle. He could bark in English and Japanese.

Oddly, he only did that on Tuesdays.

Being from San Diego, my dogs are also bi-barkle...English and Spanish. No, make that tri-barkle, since they are also fluent in barking in Spanglish.
