Buying their seat in office seems so wrong but it is the way it is, I don't like either candidate.

I think it is important to keep things in perspective. Remember our current governor is Republican and Whitman isn't all that much different than Arnold. A republican governor in California doesn't have much power when the state legislature is nearly 65 - 70% Democratic. And because of how radical the Republican party is they invariably hate their own governors for being too non-partisan. Schwarzenegger was treated better by Democrats than Republicans while governor and I don't think he will ever forget that.

Whitman doesn't impress me as a person who can handle the kind of pressures governors must face; also she lacks the kind of personality that Arnold had to win people over. If she becomes governor, don't expect any major breakthroughs. But if Whitman is governor she deserves our respect and hope that she can help California. Governors are basically non-partisan and need to stay focused on what's best for the state rather than petty political nonsense.

I just don't see the support for Brown in many areas, especially here in SD County. A lot of people are wary of Brown and it's easy to scare Californians politically. Whitman, with her lack of experience will drop the ball big time on something and **** a lot of people off just like Davis did. However with her complete lack of experience she will likely be the largest failure in the history of California.

I gave up trying to use ebay. That is her legacy? We may look back on this year as the "good ole days".

First point I keep in mind. The Republicans do not care about the "little" man. But like the Old South aristocracy they get the little man to support and fight for them.

I can't stand Whitman but Brown is a thousand times worse and will devastate our state even further. Sad that CA can't come up with decent politicians.

As Tom McClintock said, whether we get Brown's 3rd term or Arnold's 3rd term via Whitman, its going to be a rough 4 years.

Real Clear Politics shows multiple polls run by the major polling organization, to label it as a tool in support of the Republicans simply isn't accurate. Take a look at their historical accuracy rate, it is rather remarkable.

Meg certainly has run a ton of commercials. From my own perspective, I'm skipping the vote for Governor. I view Brown as little different than Davis, and I view Whitman as a crook (Goldman Sachs Board of Directors).

I'll vote on everything else, but leave this blank.
