I am one of the a fore-mentioned MM users from Shasta county, and I can tell you that all the MM cards have led to around these parts is less people in jail for small amounts of pot. The jail is was filled with people who are gonna be smokers or their gonna be criminals.

I have a serious case of epilepsy since i was around 5 years old {petimal and grandmal type of seizures} and I now use Medical Marijuana for emergency, and sometimes relaxing purposes, It has not made me dumb or slower than normal. Its just the same as the argument of the legalization of alcohol.

Spoiler
people are "Gonna Smoke pot" whether America likes it or not!!

The sooner we get this thru our heads the better it will be for everyone, since the Methamphetamine addicts are taking over this area now that people are fighting for legalization of M MJ . People out in the woods of burney cooking up dope (meth) "because its more profitable than weed now: that their are soo many dispensaries in California". This could be what the cops are now really exclusively fighting against (class 3 narcotics: The real danger to peoples safety in Shasta county).

The reason people are fighting against the M MJ so hard is they dont wanna wanna give up $$ in the timber industry. Which is our towns main resource for hundred or so years now between the logging and the forest fires. These trees are what make this county so awesome and beautiful...
so we need so keep a backup plan in our thoughts. Becuse if we keep logging as fast as we been we wont be a small mountain town anymore, honest to god on this. "Since you decided to have this conversation, I am gonna give you all a history lesson... even tho its long and faded with history's {false intentions chapters}" {so you all don't speak one sided, & Ignorant of the other side of the story.}

This man is the reason why people hate pot so much

This war on pot goes back to William Randolf Hearst era (1920's) when timber was {the big business} and they ran the newspaper industry & our first news reporters were on his payroll {durp} he did what he needed to do to keep newspapers made of timber during his era.. And his sons era was still a big newspaper news era. I think the war of pot, should end with the era of the newspapers, and usher in a newer era of people getting their news on their computer or mobile devices like their phones and ipads/kindles that way were doing our best to save resources and move forward to the future of world, instead of going back to the "tea party" ways of doing stuff in a modern era. It seems so stupid to me!! why do we keep doing things the hard way? , when we have machines that can do it better, Is a perfect example of what I am talking bout .

The main reason M MJ is illegal: its because back in the 30′s William Randolph Hearst owned a lot of newspapers company and he also owned the paper mills that printed the paper. Hemp (which of course is not exactly the same thing as marijuana but is commonly associated and lumped together with it) was competing with his paper production so he rallied his friends in power (government) and finally made it illegal in 1937. I don’t think a lot of people know this.
The interesting part is that when the case was originally brought before congress the prosecutor (Anslinger) claimed that it caused violence, attacks, delirium, death and was only used by poor black people (jazz musicians I believe). When the topic came back up in the 50′s the same guy (Anslinger) told congress a totally different story. Now his tale said that it should be illegal because it caused mellowness and apathy. He said the communists would try to use it against our youth in a bid to corrupt America. "classic way to get people behind your cause is to tell people that the bad guys were gonna drug you, and make u too mellow and full of empathy and apathy" The world could learn a lot from a stoned guy "metaphorically" At his in-laws house or something like that. you could learn about taking others thoughts into consideration seeing as how: people are thinking about what your doing 100% of the time. Your life choices effects others lives In such a fast growing society it wouldn't hurt to be aware of what your actions do to others anyways, before I got off on other subjects. I was just going on about this shasta county pot war... they wanna make it a war against drug addicts they are drawing the line in the sand and saying your a criminal if u smoke the stuff. so they will have to deal with the repercussions of the situations.

California property

Beginning in 1919, Hearst began to build the never-completed Hearst Castle, on a 240,000 acre (97,000 ha) ranch at San Simeon, California, which he furnished with art, antiques and entire rooms brought from the great houses of Europe.
Hearst later paid $120,000 for an H-shaped Beverly Hills mansion in 1947. This home is now perhaps the "most expensive" private home in the U.S., valued at $165 million (£81.4 million). It has 29 bedrooms, three swimming pools, tennis courts, its own cinema and a nightclub. Lawyer and investor Leonard Ross has owned it since 1976. The estate was on sale for $95 million as of the end of 2010.[19]
The Beverly House, as it has come to be known, has some cinematic connections. California, now demolished. He had a property on the McCloud River in Siskiyou County, in far northern California, called Wyntoon.[21] Wyntoon was designed by famed architect Julia Morgan, who also designed Hearst Castle.

"so why do we keep old laws that were for old politics?"
It pays a lot more $ to keep criminalized weed smokers in for a few days to a few months at 9$ day $3 of which is actually used to provide meal, since the food is grown by inmates 250 inmates at6 dollars a day profit on each prisoner makes shasta county a mint. Then they just gets fines, then released back into the world to pay those fines, or violate by smoking more weed, Get put back in jail and more fines. plus they have you pay fines for all the paperwork, and court fees, prop 36 fees add it all up and u got a lot of cash flowing in and out of those pot heads pockets for their already expensive habit. and a lot of other people making a good living off of the "Rehabilitation" of a drug addicts for the probation officers and probational rehabs that are funded by the government anyway so where is all that money going to?

"Plus the Jail staff cuts corners on everything they can get away with making it hard to get the medicines that I actually take on a daily basis"
So remember that when u criminalize someone who wants to smoke a damn joint. Their just regular tax paying citizens who are just asking for their right to smoke, if they are doing what their supposed to be doing I dont see why its such a big deal to 60% of the American people. If the other like 25-40% wants to smoke the herb or maybe just try it out and see what its about they should have that right. "In my opinion"

They made it profitable for the cops to put away weed smokers, and so the weed will be profitable for criminals to grow, and guard their stuff w/machine guns... cuz their paranoid someones gonna steal their money. It is one big vicious cycle that we can break as soon as people give up their high horse and admit they were misguided about the effects of pot. "on people who use occasionally or in medical reasons", even if it don't cure their aliment it helps them get thru the day without going crazy and killing a bunch of people. dropping more knowlage on you.

These are some of the reasons we don't use hemp products when: George Washington grew marijuana. , Because hemp could have replaced the timber industry for making paper and smaller wood products. "In my opinion" instead of replacing it, I think they should adapt the hemp growing techniques to make their company grow bigger than ever... With less dangerous working environment less tractors (Skidders)http://www.vannattabros.com/20081st/morgan260.jpg and stuff are needed also so that would help with the carbon emissions from old style machines they use to process the large tree parts into useable materials. if they invest in the weed we could solve a lot of our problems, and people who want to smoke it could and ppl who like to drink alcohol could do their thing. if it gets the working man thru his hard day then it should be OK as long as it is not a class 3 narcotic that makes them lose their minds..

"why go backwards in time in every aspect of life... just to keep our values from that time?"

When we can do move forward and keep the good parts of our values systems and throw out that stuff that don't work anymore {or never worked} for the majority of people anyways? That's why I believe in progressing to the unknown future.. some people feel safer doing it the old way so let them do it the way they wanna,
But remember to put the funding and manpower toward moving forward for everyone! so even the people with disability's can work hard and do all the same jobs as anyone else.

One day everyone can work hard for their future just like the early Americans did when they started the war on Pot, to stop competition from making their business worth less... we can adapt the newer types of paper and wood products, and tax the crap out of it so they still get their cut of the millions of dollars they could make by marketing the hemp products, and selling the buds to people who smoke that stuff.

No waste, and everyone Is happy and profiting
