Hello all.. Ive gone for a long time but I thought I would engage some conversation on how Shasta County is being destroyed by marijuana dispensaries and cultivation

Now.. the cultivation Im talking about isnt just the big cartel grows.. those are certainly here.. Im talking about the residential grows.. the destruction of neighborhoods.. the increased crime... the amount of stoned out people walking around.. the dumbing down of an entire population.

Dont bother coming here.. finally a glimmer of hope... it looks like through zoning ordnance the county will outlaw dispensaries and substantially curtail grows. Currently we have 17 in Redding... wow,,, and 40000 recommendations (many from out of town fly by night "doctors").

Shasta is now known as one of the best places in the world to grow dope,, hooray..just what we need..not...

I am battling the well heeled lawyered up MM crowd as hard as I can... we are "winning" the legal battle

Please join me..

The solution is legalization, and the advent of legitimate farms in places like Anderson, Lodi and Madera. Not to mention anywhere in the overplanted vineyard areas of "the wine country."

legalization only means the dumbing down of America... the dulling of the best and brightest before they can achieve true potential...

Nope.. legalization wont work.. it will only make things worse.

When's the last time anyone was killed in the US in a dispute over alcohol distribution rights? 1934? Not to mention that in the two years after repeal of alcohol prohibition there was the biggest drop in crime in US history, despite the 1930s Depression.

"The dulling of the best and brightest before they can achieve true potential" sounds more like an argument to ban the Los Angeles Unified School District or California State Legislature than an argument to ban marijuana.

An observation not borne out by the evidence, millions of successful Americans smoke pot.

When was the last time anyone was killed in the US in a dispute over Marijuana? If you are referring to the recent murders near Fort Bragg, that fellow was growing opium poppies.

"The dulling of the best and brightest before they can achieve true potential" sounds more like an argument to ban the Los Angeles Unified School District or California State Legislature than an argument to ban marijuana.

Or the latest recruiting proposal for the Tea Party
...

There will be fewer stoned people walking around if it's legalized, and not more?
