One should come up with verifiable evidence about those supposed abuses.

The real issue here is not about how many abuses have been reported but about how those "abuses" are defined.

How do you know that?

Your answer is kinda ridiculous, because on the one hand you "don't think it's fair" for someone to end on that list for consensual sex, but on the other hand you disregard two things: 1. those who end up on that list end up so because that's what the law says, regardless of how much sense it makes 2. all the supposed abused are considered to be abuses, because they're (often vaguely) defined as such ("lewd and lascivious acts" is a "catch-all" crime related to sex, very similar to "disorderly conduct" in many respects)

It's not so much about doubting the kids (although they can be doubted too), it's more about doubting the cops/the state/the parents and so on.

I realize that there are men are on the offenders list who have not committed what i call child abuse.
The list issue needs to be remedied.

Don't forget the women on the sex offender list.

Redding = hot summer and doesn't cool down at night, poor employment scene, giant meth lab, backwater compared to Chico, a little scruffy in the scenery department (a lot of scrub oak) but, further out, it is beautiful.

Folks, no more sex offender discussions, nor trying to find ways to get in the last word.

Redding continues to change exponentially... and the people that pollute all other California cities have shown up in force in the last two years with all their ills.... marijuana is now out of control and destroying neighborhood after neighborhood.. meth is here but tweakers normally burn themselves out... marijuana knuckleheads want to make this Oakland two...despair in young people is rampant.. welfare is everywhere...last year we had somewhere in the neighborhood of five positions for 750 ems applicants...to get a public safety job and potentially secure life is next to impossible.. I feel sorry for those that try.. they have to leave...

Real estate bargains abound.. nature is still awesome but the summer heat and rain all in 90 days or so makes the physical environ challenging
Strip malls with useless stores go up one after the other while others remain vacant.... 8.00 an hour is the norm
The wholesale release of felons has overwhelmed the smaller law enforcement agencies who struggle themselves
The city built the taj mahal city hall... fancy street lights and manhole covers... but forgot that the police department is literally falling down around them and fire stations are being so understaffed as to not being able to respond without another station responding as well

The people that are coming to Redding are not the type of people you want to attract to a city that once catered to family life.. the ones coming are attracted to the hip hop lowlife thugster mentality... the younger people who are actually motivated get out of Redding as fast as they can... the ones that stay are happy to suck off the system and the rest of us as long as they can... and because its California that means.. probably forever...

Ive wanted to leave for several years now... but Im entrenched by being a property holder of several homes... and the values are in the toilet right now... but I continue towards a master plan of moving out of California and this oppressive liberal place

Yeah, those tweekers and and people who are making meth and those meth labs are totally harmless. Tweekers and makers are definitely some of the most kind and peaceful and loving people in the country!
That someone would actually hold the notion that people who use marijuana are more problematic / dangerous / detrimental to a community than people involved in meth is truly astonishing!
Go meth! (one of the worst non-pharmaceutical drugs in the world!)
