Still cloudy here. I'm holding out for more rain. Haven't checked the official measurement though. And haven't checked snowpack either. Can't see the moutains for the clouds, either for an eyeball report, hehe.

As we approach the end of Feb, the rainfall year to date (Jul 1, 2012 - present) is looking a bit grim. We're now at about 13 inches at SF. We need to make 20 to hit normal. So we have March and April, can't count on anything after that.

Here in Fresno we are just about at average. But that matters much less than the snowpack.

Which I can't check right now as the sites down...

If this keeps up I'm going to have to report that Fresno doesn't get much tule fog anymore.

Which is a disappointment for kids cause they love foggy day schedules...

Ugh, it's worse than last time I checked.

This is a double whammy. Not only am I droughty here but I'm in the redzone according to the EPA. Good thing cola is low or I'd be 0 for 3.

If anyone is interested in the physics of desalinization, it can take up to 1000 psi to push water through the membrane. Roughly 500 feet of head. One would have to get rid of the brine though.
