Among older taste testers (roughly 30 & over), Five Guys came in first & In-N-Out came in second. Big Mac came in last.

I prefer Five Guys - and I'm well over 30.

I don't like Five Guys french fries; to me, they are always a bit soggy & not very hot. I've been told they are a bit soggy because they use the relatively more healthful peanut oil to cook the fries compared to the less healthful oils used by other fast food restaurants.
I don't like crispy fries, so the soggy fries at Five Guys are right up my alley. I forgot about Habit Burger. They are really good as well.

This is the bad thing about the location of my job. If you go five minutes in one direction, there's In-N-Out. Five minutes in the other direction is Habit Burger. That's dangerous if you don't have some self control. I'm not like the OP. I can't eat 20 burgers a week without some serious weight consequences.

The fries are OK but I don't feel the need to spend money. The hamburgers are just very good. I've started to cut back. I didn't realize how much I was spending until I just did a tabulation.

Btw, if I stopped cycling I would not eat like I am now. I used to do some competitive cycling in Indiana (no doping) and did pretty aggressive training sessions which I still continue even though I'm not riding at the moment. It's not uncommon for me to burn 1,000 calories during a session.

It's not a half effort 25 min gym bike deal with less than 10 calories burned lol. Every time I get done I look like I've jumped into a pool.

I didn't know they made more than a double double for about 2 months bc it wasn't on the menu so I wound up buying so many doubles instead of 4x4.

Lol. The title should be called "Is In-N-Out the new doping drug ?"

I've done many sports and cycling is the most brutal by far. You have to keep constant energy output for many hours on end up and down extreme hills. The Tour de France is over 2,200 miles in one month. The calorie output is so high that's why all the professional cyclist look like starving Somalian children. Plus they need to stay thin to reduce weight lol

The cardiovascular disease risk isn't the only thing associated with eating so much meat, there's also prostate cancer...

I suspect the love for In-N-Out Burgers was probably the cause of death of Huell Howser (RIP).

I've cut back to only 2 days if not less a week. I'm not going 7 days/week anymore. Too much $.
