And I'm retired with old Hondas that get good gas milage.

So much for the minimum wage increase when it will be eaten up by the increased cost of just getting to a job.

Tell us about where in the US or the whole world things runs the way you want things to run.

Brown used a billion of your money to bribe legislators to vote for this. That ought to be illegal and probably is but if your a Democrat you can do anything you want.

Actually, this is true for anyone bellyaching about the gas tax increase: if you don't want to pay it, just trade in your vehicle for one that gets at least 1 or 2 more mpg than the one you have now.
And how much is that improvement or that new car going to cost? It's going to be a long time to offset the gas hike. Unless you can sell your car for the same amount as the new car purchase or the swap costs nothing out of pocket you're better of keeping the car you have

Why do people not question the government's mismanaged budget instead of happily bending over and take a new tax? If your boss said you have $100,000 to build something and you spent half of it on something completely different, what will happen to you? What should happen to you? Do you say whoopsie and your boss happily writes you another check? I sound like a broken record.

So it was close? Maybe there is hope that the state government isn't completely owned by public employee union mafias. Repped you, by the way.
