Sounds like a California purity test , no ?
Not clear on your Internet memes, since the definition actually has nothing to do with what you are probably intending. My point was that someone who has lived in a state for only seven years most likely does not have enough knowledge about that state to hold the job of governor.

Just what does he need to know about California that he couldn't have learned in 7 years.

I'm also confused. Some residents act as if California is so much different than anywhere else.

Do you actually think that the governor of this state faces the same issues as the governor of, say, North Dakota? California is entirely different in population, economy, environmental issues, public schools, immigration, its entertainment industry, number of different languages spoken, traffic, housing....

It depends on the person . Newsom was born in CA but totally out of touch , because he grew up into and lives in the liberal elite Bay Area bubble .

From paying attention to his campaign he’s been talking about the issues facing California.

You are absolutely correct. The only differences are the weather and an excess of left wing crackpots.

Newsom has been using bother but general terms for his campaign ad. How about this I will not stop anybody from having affairs while in office, including myself. There’s fair in affair for all.

Chinese-American community organizer gives her frank opinion about the San Francisco mayors she's worked with over the decades. Gavin Newsom's ego is bigger than California, he didn't care about doing anything for the city or the state, "it's about whatever gets him to the next stop."

We can only hope if he wins that Newsome will continue to ignore Ca. My guess is that since he barely bothered to campaign the answer is yes. Too bad for him this is the only state crazy enough to vote him in. He's def not heading to Washington

Unfortunately it looks like Florida may elect an ultra left wing Socialist for governor who was caught taking bribes.
