Cost of living is so high for renters that the entire cost of a trailer is cheaper than one month's rent, the air in CA is the poorest quality in the US, CA has the highest commute time compared to any other state, and fuel has an added $0.77 tax on top of the actual value. The ability to actually save money is a luxury at best, work till you die.

Highest income, gas, and sales tax. High gas prices, car insurance ,and registration renewal + smog check costs. High property tax and constantly going up. The Democrat party has total control and taxes and every expense you can imagine are constantly going up The Democrat party has completely destroyed this once great state, only a fool would live here.

Edit: notice the 1st 3 posts are 1 minute apart.

Check your opinion against the facts. 8 states with the longest commute times

And frankly I would not want to live in a trailer that is worth $945.

You say only a fool would live here and list your location where you live as Los Angeles.

Very misleading averages when you consider an entire state and where the population actually exists.

Check your data against reality, you caught me, we equal out nearly with New York.

Here let's go through some populated places that you can attempt to show me data that makes California win in some way:

It's beautiful, has all 4 seasons or just a few, it has every type of business and industry, It has mountains, desert, beaches, valleys, hills, it has multiple metro areas, lots of entertainment, solid Blue politics, international recognition, national importance, Prop 13, Prop 420, 2nd lowest tobacco smoking, health conscious.

I voted Yes. My response is my own personal opinion about a state that I have visited more often than any of the state in the country, and where I plan to move to in due time. CA may not be the best state for other people, but to me, it represents a future filled with grand hopes and dreams, great weather, nicer people, and opportunities for me that just don't exist here in the mid-west.

I don't know. I'm a Bay Area native and I have only lived in this state (other than 3 yrs in Europe). Having a very good life here with no complaints at all.

I can definitely understand how it might not be good for newcomers from other states that are shocked by the high COL though.
