Hey Norm, my wife and I are fulltimers for 2 and half years now. We are not retired... play music on the road... but believe you need to have some nice things on board to be comfortable. We bought a used rental for Cruise America and added the "Movin'view" satellite dish with Sirius radio, Trojan 6 volt batteries (2), and 2 large breakproof solar panels on the roof.Buy a 5 year warranty and learn how to fix stuff. We rarely stay in an RV park... we enjoy the freedom of parking anywhere and having our toys too. Don't forget you Powerbook Mac with a PC card from Verizon for portable info. anytime... Dean
How difficult is it to travel in an RV? When my wife retires we want to visit and spend time in the areas we are considering retiring to. I am not a handy person, would it be difficult for us to travel in an RV?
