I am still awaiting for a single heart warming story about a child of an elite transitioning via chemical castration or **** chopping or even in some benign way of simply "liking" same.

Top surgeries were available for 16-17 year olds though. Now they won't be. I think that's the right call. I don't think children should be able to consent to puberty blockers or hormones either considering the lifelong impacts.

On a broader level, this is yet another issue where élites appear out of touch with the majority of the population. If you listen to the media, politicians, and other so-called opinion leaders, you'd think that half or more of Canadians are completely outraged and against what Danielle Smith announced.
Yet polling shows about three quarters of Canadians agree with her.
Why would gender transition require a mastectomy? Is that because children do not have puberty blockers young enough, so they develop breasts and then amputate? Doctors are now growing and removing breasts depending on gender choice?
I've read studies about puberty blockers and bone density in trans adults. It's early days, but it sounds like a risk; a pending serious induced osteoporosis lawsuit against Canada's health care system for experimenting on children. Double mastectomy for vanity reasons? Mental health was intact?
As children, didn't we all wonder what it is to be the opposite gender? Didn't girls look at boys who run faster, boys look at girls coy in their dresses, and wonder what it is like to be them? Sure we did, but then we got used to who we are ... for the most part.

This is going to seem crass, but if amputating breast is the definition of man, and implanting breast is the definition of woman, what is going on with these men? They seem to have breasts even though they are not that old - no older than soldiers.
How do people with elective double mastectomy deal with men with breasts?
I think sexual consent and marriage should be pushed up to 18 too, but I think it's also easier to divorce than to reverse the effects of some of these medical procedures.
Oh yeah and some people say breasts can be reconstructed anyway but they won't be like natural breasts that are sensitive to the touch in the same way or that can feed a baby

The looney left would like to expand sex changes to children as young as three. These people are deranged and should be locked up. Last time I checked, the only people who are obsessed with the sexuality of prepubescent children were ChoMos and toddler touchers.
