Welcome back Tim! I am so sorry to hear about your father. I am glad that you are able to spend some time with him and your Mom for what may be your dad's last holiday with the family. I pray that God gives you the strength and wisdom you need during this very difficult time. I will keep your father and family in my prayers!

Good morning friends.
940, Jaxson said it better then I ever could. There is a reason we are drawn to certain places and God knows that reason. I am so happy you have come here and that you are having some very special moments with your father. Those are so important and will be memories for the rest of your life! And I sure know what you mean when you say you are off to a rough start for 2014--
Hope everyone has a great New Year. I know my DH and I are in for many challenges and I will depend on my friends here for courage and strength.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words either through private messages or on this forum. They are much appreciated at this time and will give me strength to face what is surely ahead for my family. Dad had a nice day today and the medicine keeps him comfortable and pain free...I'll take as many of these good days as I can get.

You're welcome and that is very nice to hear your dad had a good day today we use to celebrate those with our mother.

Good morning dear friends and supporters!
Hugs to you and yours sudcaro!
Yesterday was a pretty good day here too 940--and like Jaxson said we celebrate those days. Looks like we are about to get some extremely cold weather this next week so I'm trying to get as much done outside as possible before it hits. I didn't think it got this cold here in the South--guess I was to use to CA. Oh well we did get our seasons here!
Everyone have a blessed day!
