Time to tear down Bill Murray. Unwanted kissing! And he held a kid over a garbage can once. I wonder when charges get filed. How much prison time do you get for that?

Quote:
A new report from Puck this week alleges that Bill Murray has paid a $100,000 settlement to a “much younger” female crew member on the film Being Mortal, the production of which Deadline first reported in April was being suspended due to a complaint made against Murray for inappropriate behavior.
The report alleges that Murray, 72, kissed and straddled the woman on set. She was allegedly “horrified,” “interpreted his actions as entirely sexual” and filed a complaint against the actor. Deadline has reached out to Murray and will add any comment received.

You know...when someone's a hot ticket, movie studios will use their muscle and lawyers to keep dirt from sticking to celebrities. They're protecting an asset. But eventually, everyone gets older, and their star gets dimmer. If someone's still a piece of **** when they get older...it's going to catch up with them, and the studios don't protect them anymore.

Seems a little hysterical. I'm guessing that at least half of America has had an unwanted kiss, and while holding a child over a garbage can sounds distasteful, it's a small drop and not likely to do much damage. Surely we have worse things to worry about?

I agree, he's older, not a hot ticket, studio won't go to bat for him any more.

Not surprised to read it. He was a hot ticket at one time, probably did whatever he wanted to whoever he wanted. His star has obviously fallen and will fall more as more people speak out. Seems like a pretty sizable list already so some of it is true.

He should just retire already. He's 72, go live off his money

Bill Murray has carried his "world is my oyster" thing too far. I don't think these actions come from a place of evil, but from a lazy, entitled "everyone loves me" attitude that he can do no wrong. I guess he was always a buffoon at heart. And he never bettered his role as Carl the groundskeeper (a buffoon) from Caddy Shack of course.

Settle down Bill and start acting like you have a shred of class.

I agree. I never understood his popularity. I was only surprised with him once when he did quite a good job portraying FDR.

But, the person who gave the unwanted kiss or touch wasn't wealthy. So, you move on.
