I've lost track of how many times I dropped my phone. It did have a screen protector on it but that finally fell off and do have a case. It really messes up of how the phone works when you drop it.
Too many times to count. Fortunately I have a good case so no damage done. I did crack my screen once but the phone was in the back pocket along with keys -- BIG MISTAKE -- and I sat on it.
I've dropped my ancient 12 year old flip phone countless times...I dunno, maybe a hundred? I have hard floors so its always a hard landing. I've dropped it on concrete, asphalt, you name it. The back often pops off, which is probably a good shock absorbing feature. The only place it has cracked is around the usb port and that's not from being dropped.
I have dropped the same phones too many times to count. But then I just pull the wire until the handset comes to me and go in talking.
I do not have a cell phone. I hate cell phones. The only 3 accidents I was ever in as a driver were caused by the other person not paying attention because they were on the phone.
Hands-free laws do not work because the phone disconnects the driver's brain from the road.
No different than talking to a friend in your car. So I assume you don’t let your spouse or any friend talk to you while driving

Drivers are far more distracted by talking on a cellular phone than by conversing with a passenger in an automobile, according to a new study. The study, which used a sophisticated driving simulator, found that when drivers talk on a cell phone, they drift out of their lanes and missed exits more frequently than drivers conversing with a passenger. Passengers react to traffic, unlike a person at the other end of a cell phone conversation.
I've maybe dropped my phone 1 or 2 times ever. The only time I had to replace my phone was when it was damaged in a car accident.
There is a reason why my wife has a new phone every few years and I'm consistently stuck with an old phone. Every time we get to the point where I am just about to get a new phone, that money saved goes to replacing hers that broke. The same goes with tablets and computers... I just replaced her tablet after the kids stepped on hers and broke the screen. Why did she put it on the floor? Meanwhile my tablet is dating back to 2014 (12.2 samsung pro). My computer dates back to 2011. My phone dates back to 2015.
Thinking about dropping my phone in the nearest river and say "oops"....
