My Father and stepmother won't move here because there isn't a Wa-Wa within 500 miles...

It seems like 7-11's started to die out when gas stations started adding big mini mart type stores to their service stations. I noticed that the building going up in Oakland Shopping Center (Fuel) is a pretty good size. I have never seen a Fuel before, so I am assuming it's a 7-11 type store with gas pumps? I remember "back in the day" walking home from school every day and stopping in to 7-11 to play video games and buy pop and candy. Sigh!

Scotty011, a Wa-Wa is sort of like a 7-11, but bigger and fancier (IMHO).
They have Wa-Wa's up in the Virginia Beach area where we used to live several years ago..........

Yep, that's where I'm from too, Teal.

Over the past 10 years they have more than doubled their franchises in the area. Most 7-11s around there are not gas stations, but just the convenience store, whereas the Wa-Wa's are both. They have the cheapest gas around and also the best convenience store- which is why I was saddened to see that there weren't any! Ha. I think I'll survive though
