Yes, but only inground pools.

I stopped counting at 40 pools. So I would guess they do approve them.

They are easily viewable on Google Maps.

An in ground pool is in someone's back yard and it's in the ground, not like it'll stick up over a fence. I have no clue why they should care?

FWIW a friend who used to live in Snee Farm had a huge pool, with a pool house and all kinds of great stuff.

In our neighborhood, every single thing must be approved. This include playsets and additional landscaping. The rules used to state if it was in the backyard, it was not in the ARB's domain. However, they changed the rules and made the entire yard, backyard included, to under the domain of the ARB.
