I wouldn't mind having this guy as my other next door neighbor.

I have a Remington 870 18" for this scenario, or when the zombies arrive.
It's kept unchambered, the sound of racking a shotgun is universally understood.

Figures.

Barkingowl Getting to be that close is a royal sin. Never ever aloow any threat with in 21 feet. If that happens you may as well go forth into the world naked ........ deaf, dumb, and blind. The only exception is answering the door and only a fool opens the door.

Since i am rural I tend to open the dammned door, but for the few wackos they soon find they are out of their league. I had one onmce who drove a Ford Escort, wanting keys to a logging copmp-any gate, and i never worked for that logging company. Then the fool demanded to use my phone to call the cops on me. Wrong move. Besides there was no road even a D-8 dozer could have taken.

Mac - naaaaahhh. The only thing I care about grilling are pork butts.

Well this is pretty good news. For one thing it tells me what religion you are not , and fer 2 I am semi off the hook until I prove your wrong

Lets hope i don't because i wouldn't want too.

Last week I had a odd question on another site come up, and to answer I had my wife measure my hairs. She came up with 21 inches long. Fer my age 58, that ain't too bad. So even if you do send me to Valhala, my hairs are atleast still worth something.

I would guess if there were just one song that might sum all of me up, fer a pigion hole somewhere, it would have to be Charlie Daniels 'Long hair Country Boy'. I sure don't make much of a 21st century man.

Most of the time I don't like to rile up the ladies. But maybe in your case i should. I bet I wear more make up in a single day than you can in any 2 consecutive years. LOL Go see my profile pic to be sure.

Mac, your posts are hilarious!

I'll be passing through your neck of the woods this week on my way to Maine.
Maybe I'll play some CDB Long Haired Country Boy in your honor tooling through NH.

I agree Mac. I learned to keep the other fella far away so he couldn't grab my pistol in a class I took. But just seeing the way that guy made it all look easy was pretty amazing.

I am no doubt the Typo King too. Even I have a bad time tryin' ta' read what I wrote. In my head i know exactly what I wrote, but my fingers tend to break all the rules. Sorry about that.

I would use spell checkers but they don't fix the words the way i want.

I fear you will have to tolerate my BS, or skip it. The wisest thing to do would be skip it.

Some of this comes from liking William Clark a little more than might be healthy. He said a man should be able to spell any given word 15 different ways. Then I am somewhat hard of hearing, have been for years, so what I hear might not be what anyone ever said. That can be ammusing.

And last, I have been a thing called Buck Skinner a sort of historical way to travel down the path of life. We do a lot of things like shoot flintlocks and play woodland skills games.

Another thing we do is set about camp fires at night and swap lies

In this 21st century I really don't fit, and I fer sure do not blend. I wear 2 sets of leathers, one fer Voo, Ron dee voo and the other for ridin' motorcycles.

If I just had a beer gut i could be a good long haired red neck, but I don't even come from the south. So I think real rednecks might get miffed.

Thar's no doubt I read too much Allen Ekert, and infact this week I ride off with my Bride, the angel, to Lac du St. Sacrement, you guys call it Lake George, how boring. But this time it is a mc meet n' greet. My first with most of the guys that will attend.

Usually I go there in Ice n' the Bucket weatha', and do 1756/1758 French and Indian War games just for re-enactors. I just love scarin the pants of adult men in all my make ups.

I like seeing things modern man would miss, like eroded away mostly, re-doubts, on a variety of the islands up the lake a bit from the fort still there in the town of Lake George.

I know my Bride is an angel, who the 'H' else would put up with my BS? While i deck'er out in the best possible Trade Silver, enough that she would drown if she fell from a boat, that can't be why she stays with me.

I do hope you enjoy my mountains. Thar mine. all of em. A tasto' salty water is advisable too if you get up east.

Well ruhmor has it the Devil his own self will have to move over a bump on the log when i get there. I am in no real hurry to get there, but when the time comes, i figure to confuse the devli too.

A man at voo I didn't know told me I was headed straight to "H". Probably he is right. He set me off. I was a dog soldier a sort of camp police. i was capt to anyone who had critters, Horses mainly, maybe mules, and no dogs are allowed, but this guy had one, so it made him my bee's wax.

The Booshway asked me if I could accept this since the guy travelled many miles to be there. I did, and dealt with the extra odd critter, but the thing that got me was this guy placed a double bit axe in a stump, and I just don't deal with that non-sence a bit.

Once I was satified the dog was set, I pulled that axe from the stump and set the head under the stump fer safe keepin's. I mounted up and rode away.
Later i happened by and there was that blasted axe in the stump again, so once more I placed it under the stump, and gave the guy a mild verbale warning to not move that axe any place dangerous.

I guess he didn't like being told much, and at that point I should have just taken his axe to keep till voo ended. But i am not terribley bright, and figure it's pal

lainer than day why no double bit axe should be stuck in a stump. I mean it is right?

So after time passes I find that blasted axe back in the stump, and this time i was mad. For the last time i took that axe and put it in some guys camp fire, and burned the stick right out of it, and took the temper with that too.

When I returned the head softer than pig snot I was informed I was headed straight to "H". Fine by me.

Other things a dog soldier does is make sure no modern fuferaw is in the open, as some people just have to make a display of certain modern items. These can fall under hearing a gas stove hiss, radio, tv, books, wrist watches which are a big problem, and ladies in pantihose. The rules are clear NO Items at all in Camp post 1840.

The only fun chore is ladies in pantiehose, of which I am obligated by the request of the Booshway, to clearly state that if the pantiehose don't come off willingly, I must dismount, and remove them with my teeth.

So far no women have tested that to a point.

All anyone one can do if they don't agree is petition the Booshway, which is akin to petitioning the Lord. Ain't gonna happen, and if it does the petitioner is going home.

So I am pretty sure about this going straight to "H" I just wonder where i will get the hand basket.

I fell in with some very real mixed martial arts trainers and when I got all done, i was dead 500 times. The lesson was never allow anyone inside of 21 feet, and for me even that is too much.
It is really hard to do though, just knowing who may be a predator from not can be the hardest part.

Predators have the advantage of surprise and can be at you before you know what it is they are.

People take me for a predator face to face all the time. I am not, just the opposite, but life has left me guarded to the point it shows.

These usually are folks broken down I stop to help, so we don't know one another a bit.
