Except for the fact that you almost have as many posts in this thread as the three of us combined...

The horse racing season isn't dead, it's just beginning.

Just don't ask First, because First doesn't have any answers, just more questions...

Talk is cheap. I always say, count the money if you want to see the amount of support for something. Here we have the # of people committed enough against redistricting to at least toss in change for a tee shirt.

Results: 56 purchases of these shirts in a county of 212,756. (0.026% of UC)

It's not exactly overwhelming if you ask me.

Yes, but also interesting are some other political players (p. 3. and p. 5)---someone connected to a new BOCC member and one of our school board candidates. https://www.booster.com/uicdlf

Whats the point? because someone doesn't favor redistricting, there must be some sort of conspiracy going on? OMG, a possible BOE candidate didn't favor the current redistricting plan, lets tar and feather them!!!!

I am particularly amused by the Briarcrest rep. A few months ago with all his talk about having paid a premium to live in a premium neighborhood and paying premium taxes to have his kids in a premium school, I'd have thought he'd plunked down at least a few mill. for his estate, (not that there's anything wrong with this neighborhood). He just about had me convinced he was living on a much grander scale; carriage house for the in-laws, servants quarters, nursery with nanny apartment for the snowflakes, game keepers lodge, ten bay garage for his Ferrari collection...
