I have no doubt there are activists raising hell every day. The old saying about can't please everyone all the time comes to mind.

It also doesn't help the cause when one of the main forces behind the Charlotte ordnance is a registered sex offender.

I don't care what your stance is, you can't tell me that doesn't look really bad. You can't say it didn't fuel the fire, no matter how ridiculous it may have been.
It's definitely bad for a sex offender to be involved.

I honestly don't remember the time sequence. It was reported on WSOC, if that makes any difference to you. They have the most consistent signal where I live.

I didn't vote for Roberts - have never been a fan. But the bathroom bill was before the city council before she got into office...

I'm not so sure about that. Probably 3/4 of the country thinks the bathroom bill is pretty much all it is.

I don't think anyone's said that for the past three years or so. NC's reputation in that regard has been completely shot due to the hard right turn the state has taken since the GOP gained control of both the General Assembly and the governor's office.

By 'the Blue' I believe he refers to the common 'color-code' for Liberals (Blue) and Conservatives (Red) that's used most often in the media

In translation, I believe he perceives NC to be acquiring too much of a Liberal slant

A resident of one of the states with the most stupid criticizing another state. Quit the irony. California's largest metro has a higher GDP than your entire state. Maybe if more blue moves into NC, you guys will actually enter the new century.
