The one in Gastonia closed.....BUT it is making a comeback just a mile from where they originally were in the old Backyard Burgers location.

Quite often it is greedy landlords, they see a business doing well and raise the rent to the point that it is no longer cost effective.

The LL's also think that the economy is 100% back and are trying to get pre recession rent out of businesses. I have been dealing with this recently and it is out of control. You need to sell alot of pizza to pay the Sq Ft price some of these LL want.

There was a Donato's near me on Monroe Rd last year. I like a variety of pizza, but I could never get into theirs. I tried several times, including freebies because they kept botching my order. As far as I can remember, they are the only pizza place right around me that has failed in the last few years.
