Let me revise my answer on the sound proof walls of Camden Sedgebrook. We never hear anything from the people next to us, but unfortunately in the past week we had two guys move in above us, and it's been anything but quiet. You can pretty much hear their every step. They seem like nice enough guys and the leasing office has been excellent about intervening, but some people are just very heavy walkers.
Keep in mind, I haven't lived in an apartment in over 10 years, so the sounds may be normal, but to me, it's pretty bad. I'd still take a look at Camden Sedgebrook, but be conscious of who's above you. Luckily, our new house will be done in 45 days, so we're counting them down....
That is a good point BK- if available i will try for a top floor-even if it means carring boxes up stairs, it is worth it to me.Hang in there.
After 2 weeks on the market, my house sold in upstate NY.-wow-i dont know how to react. When i purchased this house i thought i would die here, then LIFE throws you a curve ball-and before you know it you are on this forum, and Boom- you are on your way to Charlotte.
CONGRATS X-Ray!!!!!!!!!!! I'll see you in Monteith Park soon then!!! (We just closed yesterday).
Wellll??? How did it go?? What kind of job are you looking for BTW?
We are less than 2 weeks out now and both excited and stressed. It's worse than having a baby

Anita,
Well the company was suppose to cal at 11:30 am, i was at work , so at 11:15 i went to my car so i could speak in private. I waited for an hour-they never called. I went back into work and called, the gentlemen had the day off, so it is now on for tuesday.I am applying for a cat Scan job(type of an xray). Now since i am a guy, i dont know what it is to give birth, but that hour of waiting, i will bet is like labor pains, because i was panting in anticipation Hang in there, i also feel as if i am having a bit of a break down
Bye for now
Why did they schedule an interview for when the guy wasn't there??? Sheesh! RUDE!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on Tuesday
Deep breath. I know things will work out!! Though the anticipation is terrible, the end result (just like having my 2 kiddos) will be worth it! Unfortunately they don't give epidurals for moving/ job search pains
