Thanks again everyone for helping and giving me tips for this trip! We enjoyed it very much. Cantigny Park was amazing! We didn't get to spend too much time at Navy Pier due to bad weather and running late, etc. Field Museum was good, food was good, downtown was good! We also did some kayaking through the river!

That sounds like a blast! I've always wanted to take a kayak out on the river... glad you had fun.

Although I am big supporter of DuPage Co.'s efforts to popularize its many nice opportunities for travelers we rarely get to hear feedback and it is nice to hear the OP enjoyed Cantigny, a wonderful site for nature lovers and a unique memorial to a different era when grateful business leaders were far more likely to celebrate traditional patriotism.

Glad you enjoyed your trip!
