Not surprised to see that TWP HSD 113 did not take the PARCC test seriously. Kudos to them.

You missed The Lane in Hinsdale.

The bigger question is how did the results compare to other states that participated in the test?

Any idea on how other states fared? I'm having a difficult time finding information online.

Our district put a whole bunch of crazy in place to prep for this test, and it appears that the results were not up to snuff. Schaumburg and Palatine have done a great job preparing for the new standards, and they can't point to a demographic advantage. Perhaps they have some methods that should be emulated?

It's going to take a few years to adjust to the new tests, and I think we'll see a very different list in 3-5 years.

Yea, Schaumburg High (43%) and Palatine High (29%) scored roughly as expected compared to their peers, but the two towns' elementary schools are the big surprise in these test results.
