I would pick New Lenox...more parks, better schools.

both are good choices. I would take tinley because thats cook county and new is will.

Tinley Park is also more established than New Lenox and doesn't have the skyrocketing taxes that are necessary to build a new suburb. Still would really like to live in either one if I had to. Great shopping and eating, although mostly chain restaurants.


Even nicer is Mokena and Frankfort.

Our friends just received a reassessment of taxes, 3,000 sq. ft. home on a not so spectacular lot in New Lenox - $9,600.00. Their elementary school district does not even have an art program, among other things, um, no thanks.
