So Berwyn has some awesome houses. Is this a good town for young families? Are there different areas in the town, like black, asian, mexican or white? What are the bad areas to stay away from when purchasing a home there? Thanks!

the schools are mostly hispanic, like 60%. like 5% black, i don't think there is a lot of asians. and like between 30-35% white.

My husband and I live in Berwyn and have 2 children, ages 8 and 5. I don't think the neighborhoods are divided by ethnicity so much as by household income level. The more expensive areas are clustered on the southwest side, either near Proska Park, or near the Depot district where the Metra stops are. They are quiet, with well-maintained houses and yards.
