Still play...
Not to mention 16" is infinitely more fun

BTW, I think we say "tennis shoes" more than "gym shoes" (of course, we would never say "sneakers"). Also, we say "purse" not "pocketbook".

I grew up in St. Louis and we always said tennis shoes too.
My mom always called it cream rinse instead of conditioner -anyone ever heard that?

I think "yous guys" and "tennis shoes" is a midwest thing. I never hear Y'all or gym shoes in sd or mn.

Ive always referred to them as gym shoes, never tennis shoes or sneakers. Sneakers is more of a east coast term Id imagine.

definitely more "gym shoes" around here methinks.

"pop" is common for soda, (and pretty common in midwest)--I've had a few funny stares ordering it when I've been on vacation.

Adding an "s" onto everything seems to be more a south side thing--like "I'm going to Jewels" or "Soldiers field"

Softball? I think you probably mean 'saltbuck', and it's $10
